~There are many scams out there so you should beware.
~#1 if it seems cheap...beware. It cost lots of money to take GOOD care of purebred dogs. If a breeder is cheap they are cutting corners on healthcare, nutrition, and enrichment. A good breeder will cost you more, but recieving a healthy and happy puppy is worth every penny.
Sadly we have heard tooooo many stories of people buying puppies for a low price, spending THOUSANDS to save their lives, and ending up heartbroken without a puppy!
~Caution to buying foreign puppies. These puppies are shipped MANY hours to the US. Health can be compromised by all the stress.
~Many foreign breeders steal photos from other breeders. They advertise a puppy they don't have. Once they recieve the money they are gone. You are out money and heartbroken....
~Talk with the breeder on the phone. You will get a better idea about them with conversations than with emails.
~Ask for updated photos of the puppy. If they are stealing photos from another website, they will not be able to provide them.
~Ask for the name of the vet they use. You can contact their vet to see about how they treat their animals and if they are of good quality.
~Ask for a few references of previous buyers. They will be able to tell you how the breeder deals with people and how the process works.
