Our Contract Here is a copy of our contract. Please don't just print and fill in the blanks. We will customize a contract for you and your new addition, then attach and email it to you. There may be a few deletions or additions depending on each specific dog or family.
a) As of the date of this agreement, the dog is in good health and free of communicable diseases. b) The buyer has 48 hours to have dog examined by a veterinarian and to personally inspect the dog. Any tests should be given at this time at the buyer’s expense. Any claims to return the puppy must be made within this time period and will be verified by Seller’s own veterinarian. c) Buyer is completely satisfied with and waives any and all claims regarding the dog’s conformation and outward appearance. d) Seller will not be responsible for any medical expenses incurred on aforementioned dog, unless other arrangements have been made with Seller’s written consent.
a) This dog, identified in Section 1, is being sold for the sum of . A deposit of 20% or _ is due to hold the puppy. All deposits are non-refundable. Shipping is not/ is included.
b) If puppy is diagnosed with crippling hip dysplasia or any other congenital defect, excluding demodectic mange because of the controversy of whether it is genetic or not, within one year of date of sale, either by Seller’s and Buyer’s veterinarian or by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA). Buyer can either agree to keep puppy, provided puppy is spayed or neutered, or may return to Seller. Seller agrees to replace said dog/bitch with another of same sex and grade. c) Any other arrangements may only be made with Seller’s written consent. d) If buyer chooses to sell dog/bitch or otherwise place him elsewhere, Seller gets first chance to re-acquire dog/bitch according to terms agreed to by buyer and seller at that time. e) If Buyer is no longer able to provide and loving and healthy home environment, Buyer promises to contact Seller to make arrangements for adoption or for Seller to reclaim the dog/bitch.
b) Buyer further agrees to provide proper exercise as indicated in order to maintain this dog or bitch in proper weight and physical shape. A proper diet consists of top-quality dog food and supplements. c) Buyer agrees that this dog or bitch is NOT to be LEFT IN BACKYARD OR KENNEL ONLY. This dog or bitch is being sold with the understanding that it was to go to carefully selected parties and that Buyer AVOWED that the dog would become a member of the family. (This is to assure proper development and maintenance of the temperament for which the animal was bred.) d) Buyer has been informed of the vaccination and worming schedule that the puppy has been on and the follow-up vaccinations and wormings that should be administered. e) Buyer agrees that Seller will REPOSSESS DOG UPON EVIDENCE OF NEGLECT AND/OR ABUSE at no expense to the Seller. f) And finally…Buyer agrees that he/she understands this contract fully, and that this contract is under the jurisdiction of the State of Oklahoma, in the county of Ellis. It is agreed the place of venue shall be in Ellis County, Oklahoma. This contract will be considered null and void if it does not contain both Buyer and Seller signatures.
